Video Work
I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to work with my talented friends on a few video projects.

Pan Am Flight 213: Music Video for the band Chop Chop

Director, editor, animator, concept creator.

Catherine Cavanagh of Chop Chop approached me to create a music video. She happened to be on her way to the Coachella festival, so I suggested that she shoot some video footage of herself at Joshua Tree.

She used a primitive digital camera (which shot video in only 10-second increments) to shoot approximately 15 pieces of footage, following a list of shots I'd provided. I combined these with found images and my own animation to build a narrative that supported and expanded the song's themes of nostalgia and loss.

The Pill: History of a Boston Club Night (Documentary)

Co-director, editor.

This is a short documentary about a long-running Britpop night in Boston. I joined this project when the footage had already largely been shot. I suggested shooting additional location footage, found and integrated music, archival footage, and still photography, and edited everything together.

Video length: 17:08. Allow to load completely before viewing.
